Me and my family recently went on a Vacation trip down to the Transkei in South Africa. I have never been to this part of our beautiful country but I always knew about this place - The Hole in the Wall. It was raining hecticly, and our bus got stuck in the mud - but we were all eager to see this fro ourselves. What a magnificent sight it was! I could barely believe my eyes. I ran up this hill to capture this picture - and every-time I look at it my first encounter keeps on coming back - tranquility, peace, stillness from the inside out, and beauty.

Poor weather can bring excellent photo opportunities such as these buck crossing a ridge in bad weather in the Tala Reserve. Tala does not have any predators so one can get close to otherwise flighty game.
